After 7 years, the finale strangely doesn’t feel like a true ending. Changing the comic ending is fine, but the replacement needed to hit harder. Butcher vs Homelander face-off was okish and satisfying, but not the explosive. A slightly disappointing ending decent enough, but definitely not a great finale for a show like The Boys.
